Projekt:Europeana Awareness 2012/Wiki Loves Public Art/What is needed for WLPA to be successful

Here we will list what we will need to get a hold of before we can organize the Wiki Loves Public Art competition. If you have experience from the Wiki Loves Monument contest or just have a suggestion, please let us know what need to be done in order to make this contest successful! We need your help!

When planning this we need:

• National coordinators in all the participating countries. Ways to reach them: Email lists, blog posts, direct questions to knowledgeable people on Wikipedia. Suggestions?
• Data from the institutions about what public artworks are out there. The lists must include: some form of object ID, the name of the artwork, the creator, geographical position, when it was made/erected, what type of artwork it is. The institutions should ideally be contacted by local Wikimedians.

Tasks that also could help WLM

If the tasks also would have a positive effects for the WLM contest it would be even more fun. Do you have any suggestions for stuff that could be done or developed?
