LEARNING QUESTION | |
7. Learning question: Did your work increase the motivation of contributors, and how do you know? | The response from the participants was very positive. As part of the workshop a take-home assignment was given to be completed within 3 weeks of finishing the workshop. 3/6 of the participants successfully completed their assignment showing that they could put what they'd learned in the workshop into practice. Giving an assignment forced the participants to try and use their new skills before it could be forgotten. It also helped to quickly bring to light any issues they hadn't fully understood during the workshop. The three participant who didn't complete the workshop had all started it but indicated that they had too many other obligations during the three week period to get started. |
